This practical CPD workshop empowers teachers and practitioners to confidently bring storytelling, drama, and imagination into their daily classroom practice. Led by one of our experienced Story Builders, the session provides adaptable techniques and games that can be put to work immediately with pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
Participants will step into the shoes of learners, gaining hands-on experience through energising warm-ups, inclusive drama activities, and collaborative story-building approaches. You will leave with a clear toolkit of strategies to boost oracy, engagement, and creativity in your setting.
Choose from two areas of focus:
- Story Building Methodology: Master the art of collaborative story creation in the mainstream classroom.
- SEND Sensory Storytelling: Learn how to use rhythm, repetition, and sensory resources to support communication, engagement and regulation in SEND settings.
What’s included:
- 1-hour CPD session (for up to to 30 teachers)
- Led by a trained Story Builder, highly experienced in engaging and inclusive facilitation

- Story Building for the mainstream classroom
- Sensory Storytelling for SEND settings
Safe working in your school
Story Builders have recently undergone Safeguarding and Child Protection training and have current Enhanced DBS checks, which will be brought and shown to reception staff at your school.
Prices
1‑hour session: £140 + VAT
plus travel costs for schools outside of London.
