Story Suitcase: Discover brought to your classroom

Your pupils will be amazed as a magical Story World is unfolded before their eyes from a special, bespoke suitcase. Inside, they will find mountains, rivers, villages, a growing beanstalk… familiar characters and magical settings from traditional tales brought to life along with our resident story-loving space monster Hootah.

We now offer two ways to experience the magic, depending on your school’s needs.

Option 1: Story Suitcase (Classic Storytelling & Workshop)

Guided by one of our expert Story Builders, pupils take part in an interactive storytelling performance, explore story structures and settings, and get the chance to build their own brand-new story.

What’s included:

• 3x 1-hour combined storytelling performance and workshop sessions
• For one class per session (up to 30 pupils)
• Facilitated by a Story Builder experienced in inclusive delivery
• SEND version available (45-minutes per session, up to to 15 pupils per class)

Price:

Full day: £385 +VAT

Full day, Newham school: £346.50 +VAT

plus travel costs for schools outside of London.

Option 2: Story Suitcase Plus+ (Theatre-Style Performance & Workshop)

Led by two expert Story Builders, a one-hour theatre-style performance invites up to three classes at once into a playful, imaginative world. Through movement, participation, and live storytelling, children help shape the narrative and discover how stories are built.

Following the show, each class takes part in their own own 45-minute creative workshop. Using drama games and imagination exercises, pupils create original stories inspired by the performance. Designed to support oracy, teamwork and self-expression and tailored to different age groups and abilities.

An expanded and highly flexible option — with two Story Builders on site, workshops can run concurrently to fit your school’s schedule.

Safe working in your school

Story Builders have recently undergone Safeguarding and Child Protection training and have current Enhanced DBS checks, which will be brought and shown to reception staff at your school.
