Maintenance Person

We’re seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Person who can undertake basic plumbing, electrical, decorating and repair tasks to help us maintain our venue and buildings. As most of the maintenance work will take place in our public-facing spaces for children and families, we will need someone who is happy to work flexibly and can work some full days and some partial days undertaking repairs outside of our busy opening times (Mon – Sun 10am – 5pm, usually quieter from 4pm).

Discover transforms lives through stories, supporting over 100,000 children and families a year with creativity, confidence and connection in our purpose-built Story Worlds and in libraries, schools and festivals across London and beyond.
Terms
Part–time, 14 hours per week (worked flexibly to the needs of the business) based at our centre on Stratford High Street. Benefits include 10 days holiday per year (based on 14 hours per week), paid carers leave, book and café discounts.
Salary
£32,000 full-time equivalent (£12,800 pro rata’d to 14 hours per week)
