The Duck Pond (BSL Interpreted)

Things to see & do

Access enhanced performance for d/Deaf families and any visitors who use British Sign Language, part of our programme of monthly signed events.

An intimate, interactive storytelling for our smaller visitors and their caregivers — featuring sensory objects, rhymes and stay-and-play.

There’s always fun to be had around the duck pond, come rain or shine. Let’s see what we can find!

These sessions offer 15-minutes of sensory exploration and storytelling for little hands, feet and minds, guided by one of our expert Story Builders. Plus, an additional 10-minutes stay-and-play in a comfortable and supportive environment.

  • Please note: during your visit to The Duck Pond, there will be some sensory water play. It is advisable to bring a change of clothes, just in case.
  • We ask that you remove your shoes and put them in the provided storage area before entering the space.
  • Total duration: 25 minutes
  • For children aged 0-3 (up to 36-months) and their caregivers.
  • If you or your child like to see a new space before visiting it, take a look at a social stories video of our Storytelling Space here.
  • If you have any queries, don’t hesitate to email us on bookings@discover.org.uk
