Discover’s Newham Stories programme invited local families to explore and celebrate their diverse heritage and culture through the art of oral storytelling. In artist-led workshops, participants used poetry, theatre and comedy to foster a deeper connection with their heritage and celebrate the intersectionality of their cultural backgrounds. All while providing an inclusive space for families to connect, share customs, and pass their stories on to the next generation.
