Make Your Own Egg Box Vehicles

Part of Out of the Box season of May Half Term fun in our temporary space — Discover Pops Up! at Stratford Centre.

Create your very own handmade vehicle to take home. 

Our Out of the Box season celebrates imagination and transformation, turning everyday recycled materials into playful worlds, characters and stories.

In this hands-on workshop, use egg boxes, loo rolls and jewellery boxes to design and construct your own imaginative 3D vehicle. Who will drive it? Where will it travel? Let your creativity lead the way as you build, decorate and invent your own journey. 

Freya is a fashion illustration student at London College of Fashion, known for her bold, colourful and graphic style. Alongside her studies, she has delivered creative workshops with children with Discover, helping young people explore their imagination and build confidence through art. Freya is passionate about making creativity accessible and enjoyable, and loves encouraging children to experiment with colour, design and self-expression in a fun and supportive environment.

This event takes place at Discover Pops Up! at Stratford Centre – located 5 minutes walk from Discover’s home on Stratford High Street, and 4 minutes walk from Stratford station and bus station. We’re located at the heart of the shopping centre, opposite Costa Coffee.
