A beautiful, enchanted garden-themed play room for our very smallest visitors. For 0-2 year olds and their grown-ups.
This brand-new sensory space has been created with the help of the University of East London’s Institute for the Science of Early Years and Youth, as a dedicated area for 0-2 year-olds and their grown-ups. Featuring soft surfaces (and shoes off!), lights, textures, blowy air tubes, curated books and even a baby waterfall – this is a corner of Discover made just for littler ones.
This room provides a calm space to read and physically engage with books, stories and sensory and imaginative play.
Practical information
- This space has been created for babies, crawlers and wobbly walkers.
- We know that families contain kids of different ages, so there’s also a small craft and building area for bigger siblings to enjoy while their younger family members play.
- The Baby and Toddler Sensory Story Space is free with your Entry ticket, but must be booked – sessions will last 45 minutes and we recommend booking in advance.
- Everyone will be asked to remove shoes, so wear your best socks.
